Shree Dev Charitable Trust is engaging college students as short-term volunteers or interns. This supports students in completing their mandatory fieldwork and community outreach as it is part of their curriculum. We provide both offline and online volunteer opportunities. During their volunteering journey, students support various program and project teams of Shree Dev Charitable Trust and complete assigned tasks such as teaching at community centers, translating, facilitating classes and workshops at Government schools, and preparing worksheets, etc. These activities provide unique opportunities for individuals to gain valuable experience, foster ownership, promote collaboration, and develop a sense of nurturing care.
Volunteering is an excellent way for students to practice essential skills like leadership, problem-solving, time management, and Global Impact. Volunteering and Interning with Shree Dev Charitable Trust helps students to become socially conscious and responsible citizens. We encourage student volunteers to take advantage of these opportunities to grow, learn and make a difference.
The Process:
❖ We recommend that interested students send the request to hr.volunteers@shreedevtrust.com with college credit details, availability, and the faculty’s contact information.
❖ A member of the volunteer HR team will contact the students to understand their expectations.
❖ The volunteer HR team will contact the suitable project team to know their availability to engage the students in their project. After a brief discussion, the volunteer HR team will map the students to the respective projects.
❖ A confirmation letter with the engaging project team details will be sent to the students and the faculty within 10 working days after the request is submitted.
❖ Student-volunteer/Interns should attend one mandatory orientation conducted by the project team before kick-starting their short-term volunteering or Internship.
❖ If it is a short-term internship request, the project team will raise an intern requirement request, and the students can apply via the Shree Dev Charitable Trust internship application.
❖ Attendance of the volunteers/interns will be taken care of by respective project teams.
❖ Certificates will be issued after the project team communicates the completion of the Volunteering activity.
❖ Certificates will be processed by the volunteer HR team based on the contributions shared by the project team for the respective student.
